April 2014 Favourites

This past month, it has really started to fell like spring. The nights are getting lighter, the days longer and not to the mention to ever so slight warmth in the air. Today a bring you my select few products that have really stood out to me over the recent weeks...

I love my Clarisonic month in, month out, but this month I switched the basic head for the Deep Pore Brush Head and that is when things changed. I did go through a mini 'purging' phase but it only lasted a week or two, however since then my skin looks much clearer and brighter and I have noticed a difference in the size of my pores. This is a pricey investment, but I wouldn't want to be without it.
Every month a new Essie polish steals my heart. April's Essie Polish Award goes to Lilacism - the perfect spring shade. Soft, feminine and oh so cute.

Illuminating powders are now my thing. Once upon a time I wouldn't give them the time of day but they are now a firm fixture in my makeup routine. I go through stages of which I love the most, and this month the crown definitely goes to the Bourjois Java Rice Powder. A translucent powder that gives your skin a photo-shopped effect.
Newest to the skin care line up is the infamous Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum. I have been using this most evenings lately and although it is too early to say about any definite results, I love how it makes my skin feel. I wake up with clear, plump and just generally happy skin.

Not technically a beauty product, but it is a beautiful product in my eyes is the Jo Malone Sweet Almond & Macaroon Candle. Easily the most delicious, 'good enough to eat', candle I have ever come across. If you like cherry bakewell and all things sweet, then you will like this.

What have you been loving this month?

Weekly Loves #16 & #17

I hold my hands up. I've been a bad blogger. Lack of motivation had me a little down about most things including my little old blog, but I'm back and hopefully in full swing. After a week off work, I have discovered a few new favourite products and one of which I am very surprised about...

I'll start with the oldest of the bunch, the Clarins Graphic Expression Face & Blush Powder. The perfect hue for that natural peachy flush which goes with every single makeup look from natural to the most extreme. I have been wearing this every day for the past couple of weeks for that spring-time glow, despite the wet weather.
Essie Peach Daiquiri just screams summer. A vibrant pink/orange/red, it's a bit hard to describe but it is beautiful and it looks just as great on your fingers as it does your toes.

Clarins Daily Energizer Cream is my current moisturizer of choice for the AM. A thick textured cream with a zesty orange scent. This provides just the right amount of hydration for my normal/combination skin, leaving it smooth and plump for the day ahead.
Now for the one that surprised me... the Bourjois CC Cream. Originally purchased for my up and coming holiday, I have completely fallen for this product to the point where I now pick it above my beloved Double Wear and Silk Creme foundations for everyday wear. Usually an avid full-coverage kind of girl this evens out my complexion perfectly whilst adding a glow to my complexion.

What products have surprised you lately?

Weekly Loves #15

The weeks are just flying by at the minute. There still aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done, but the lighter evenings are putting me in better spirits. This week, I bring you mostly new favourites, with one staple product for good measure...

After having a quick peep through my stash earlier in the week a discovered an unused tube of Clarins Moisture-Rich Body Lotion and thought I had better test it out. This is a super nourishing and hydrating cream, not too thick in consistency so a little can go a long way but thick enough that you really notice a difference. It is so lightly scented that it is almost non-existent which is a nice change to my usual sweet and fruity taste.
A recent shopping trip saw the purchase of the REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask. A clay mask, my favourite,  that aims to purify and deep clean the skin whilst promoting cell renewal and decreasing the size of pores. Now, it is far too early to say for sure... but I'm pretty sure this is going to be a winner.

On said shopping trip I also picked up the Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil, something which I have been meaning to buy for a while now. I have only used this a handful of times, but the difference in my nails and cuticles already is amazing. Subtly scented and easy to use, this has become a firm fixture in my beauty regime.
As for the old favourite... This week I have really fallen in love with my MAC brow palette. Although this holds Omega, I always reach for Charcoal Brown to fill in, define and shape my brows. I would really recommend these eyeshadows, in particular these shades, if you have light - medium brown hair. It is so easy to apply using an angled brush as you have full control, a mix of both shades also looks great.

What new products are you loving this week?

The Not-So Impulsive Haul

Last week I shared with you my quick, 'grab as much as I possibly can in a short amount of time' haul. I did as said and took another shopping trip, this time with a specific list of products that I needed. Ok, not so much needed but products that I didn't want to be without...

As usual, Boots was where most of the damage took place. Having used up multiple minis of Benefit They're Real mascara, I thought it was about time to bite the bullet and purchase a full-sized one. This is the most I have ever spent on a mascara, but after going without it for two weeks and regretting not having one every morning when doing my makeup I think this is money well spent.
The only thing that I really need from this haul was the Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub. My previous exfoliator had run out a month or so ago and my leg-shaving routine just wasn't the same with out one. I chose this as it was one of the only S&G scrubs that I haven't had before. I am still yet to use this but I have to mention how incredible this smells - I can't even begin to describe it.

With my holiday coming up and some stretch marks that I would like less visible, I picked up the Palmers Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks. I am also using Bio-Oil in rotation with this. I'm not expecting miracles but a little difference would be nice.
I am not really loving my nail polish collection at the moment, which may seem a strange to non-beauty obsessives, but if you're like me you will get it. My tastes have changed quite dramatically over the past year or so and I feel that I need to adapt my nail colours to suit. I picked up the Mama Knows Best Duo by Essie to give a little re-vamp to my stash. The colours Lilacism and Peach Daiquiri are perfect for spring.

When a MAC collection comes out, MSFs are my weakness. Perfect Topping from the current Fantasy of Flowers collection, wasn't one that I wanted to miss out on. The soft peach shade with veins of champagne and lilac running through makes for one of the prettiest products I have seen. The high volume of shimmer, makes this just that bit more mesmerizing.

What have you been buying lately?

The Impulsive Haul

After what seemed like a life time between paydays, I knew I needed a little bit of a splurge. My mental list of things that I needed to buy disappeared and I was faced with endless amounts of makeup and beauty products *dream* and a time limit of twenty-five minuets, this is what I ended up with...

Every beauty blogger goes a little crazy when Boots have 3for2, I am no different. Although my local store seemed to be a little bare, I was finally able to purchase the Revlon Colour Burst Matte Balms. Possibly the most spoke about product of 2014, I picked up the shade Audacious; a bright orange and Elusive; a muted pink. Although I am still yet to give them a proper run for their money, they already have a thumbs up from me.
With a craving for a pale pink polish and a 'love at first sight' moment, I added the Rimmel Salon Pro by Kate Nail Polish in New Romantic to my collection. Not only is the name sweet as can be, the shade is beautifully feminine and chic and the same time.

Having seen the the Clarins Daily Energizer Cream pop up on a few blogs lately, I knew that it would be right up my street. A radiance boosting cream, targeted at younger skin and filled with Vitamin C... this has become my new AM  moisturizer and so far, I am loving it.
With my fingers secretly crossed, I asked whether they happened to have the Clinique Take The Day Off Balm in stock and done a little hop, skip and a jump when I was handed one. I have been trying to get my hands on this for months now after hearing such amazing things, I don't want to say too much just yet but this stuff is ah-mazing.

Does anyone else find themselves unable to walk past a MAC counter? I have to walk through them. I also have to stop at the lipstick stand, every single time. This passing saw the purchase of Peach Blossom. An unbeatable natural pink shade with hues of peach, perfect for spring.
I also picked up the MAC Brow Pencil in Lingering. I was recommended this after saying 'I want to try a brow pencil, I don't have one, nor have I ever used one', so far I like it but I don't love it. I think I need a little more practice...

I think another shopping trip is in order, to get the things that I 'need' of course.

My Manicure Routine

There once was a time when I would change my nail polish three, maybe four, times a week. No base coat, no top coat, just colour. As you can imagine my nails were left a bit of a state - stained yellow and flaky. However, as I have grown to be older and wiser (when it comes to my nails) I have developed a routine that is serving me well and keeping my nails in great condition...

Step One: Removing Previous Colour. For this I like to use the Sally Hansen Strengthening Nail Polish Remover. Packed with vitamin E and wheat protein this product removes every trace of polish with ease whilst treating the nails to some much needed nutrients. This has made a huge difference in the condition of my nails and I would really recommend picking a nail polish remover suited to your nail type.
Step Two: Prepping the Nails. I have four mini steps to this; firstly I start by simply cutting, using any nail clippers I have to hand, my nails to sort out any breakages or uneven edges I have gained and to shape them to how I like - square, FYI. Secondly, I go ahead and file the edges to help achieve a straight edge, any emery board will do. Thirdly, I buff over my nails using this Boots 7 Way Curved Block. I only do this when necessary as it can be damaging to the nails, but if you have any flaky bits it needs to be done! Fourthly, I take one cotton pad with a bit of nail polish remover on and quickly swipe over each my nails. This removes any left over polish that there might be and it dehydrates the nail slightly which helps your manicure's staying power.

Step Three: Base Coat. My base coat of choice, for the past six months or so, has been the Sally Hansen Maximum Strength. Pale pink in colour, this product works perfectly as a base coat as it treats the nails while still protecting them from staining. This has made my nails go from dry and brittle, to stronger and much more healthy. You can also use this as a treatment but I just like to use it as a base coat.
Step Four: Colour. As apposed to back in the day when I have about 200 different nail polishes, my collection is now just a small array of shades that I switch between depending on my mood. As you can probably guess, my usual choice is an Essie polish - Essie Watermelon to be exact. This almost red, hot pink shade is probably my all time favourite colour, of which I like to apply two coats. I apply to coats of any shade.
Step Five: Top Coat. Seche Vite. Need I say more? Probably not, but I will make a quick note - this stuff is amazing! If you like doing your mani's last thing at night then you need this.

Step Six: The Finishing Touch. If you want healthy nails, you need healthy cuticles. To get healthy cuticles you need to incorporate a Cuticle Oil. I am still yet to find one that I love, so at the minute I just using a Sally Hansen one. I like to do this once my nails are completely dry and then again once or twice every day.

Now this isn't the quickest of routines, it will take you around 30 minuets to complete. However, with a manicure that lasts around 5-7 days and healthy nails that are now a lot stronger, I can deal with that.

What are your favourite manicure products?

January 2014 Favourites

January 2014 Favourites
I originally titled this 'January 2013 Favourites', it seems that it is still taking me a little while to adjust to the whole 2014 thing... However, with the new year in full swing now and some of my new years resolutions needing to be refreshed I can safely say that it has been a good month product-wise.

I said at the beginning of the year that I wanted to step up my skincare game and that I have done with the biggest change being the addition of the Clarisonic Mia 2 to my line up. Something I have wanted for a while, I have been using this most evenings to thoroughly cleanse my skin and although I haven't gone through the dreaded 'purging' phase with this, yet , my skin is looking more clear and healthy.
My cleanser of choice to use with this has been Origins Zero Oil Cleanser. This is a gel textured product with a refreshing minty scent, which has been working wonders to deep clean my skin and help to control my ever so slightly oily skin.

Fragrance wise, I haven't been able to get enough of Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede - so much so that I am already nearly half way through. A fresh, yet floral scent that just oozes femininity and receives compliments one after another. I really need to limit myself with this perfume but a full sized bottle will definitely be in order.
Seche Vite is a favourite of mine every single month of the year, but with a very full work schedule this month I have really appreciated the lasting power is gives to my nail polishes. Some chips have appeared - that's retail for you, but nothing that has had me reaching for the bottle every couple of nights.

I also mentioned at the start of the year how I aimed to switch up my makeup products, so this month I am bringing you one old love and two new ones. Benefit POREfessional Primer is a product that I have used for a while now and wouldn't ever want to be with out. It helps in disguising my pores, gives an almost silk like texture to my skin and therefore creating the perfect base and gets makeup to stay put all day. What more could you want?
Probably the most loved product from the whole of January has to be the Dior Creme De Rose Lip Balm. A wonder product in my eyes, this little rose scented pot has made my lips softer than ever and has given them the more plump look that I have always wanted.
The Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder has given my more rounder-face the definition it deserves. With only the tiniest amount of this super pigmented, ashy shade I have been given cheekbones - and great ones at that. This has also allowed me to have the slimmer nose I have begged my parents for... makeup can do wonders!

What have been your top picks from this month?

Weekly Loves #3

Weekly Loves #3
This week I took the time to try out some new makeup and different ways of applying it, nothing revolutionary just ways that I hadn't tried before and I have to say I have loved the results. So this week there a couple of old favourites mixed with a couple new ones...

Something I have loved for well over a year now is Essie Fiji. This colour is pure perfection if you like a feminine, yet sophisticated manicure as it the softest of pink shade that makes your tips look super polished.
Another old-ish favourite is Benefit They're Real Mascara. It is no secret that I am a lover of lashes - the bigger the better if you ask me. So when I discovered They're Real I was over the moon, I know some people don't like this mascara but it works wonders for me and gives the longest fullest lashes I have ever seen (well, without false ones!).

On to the new discoveries. Kevyn Aucoin The Sculpting Powder is quite well known in the beauty world for defining cheek bones on the roundest of faces and I have to say that this didn't disappoint. With only the tiniest amount blended through the hollows of your cheeks you are left with the most natural looking contour and cheek bones to kill!
The newest of the bunch and probably my favourite thing so far of 2014 is the Soap & Glory Supercat Liquid Liner. Usually a gel eyeliner girl at heart, I have been using this liquid liner almost every day as a quicker alternative to getting the winged eyeliner that I love.

This week has a pretty good one makeup-wise. How has your's been?

Best of Beauty 2013

Best of Beauty 2013
2013 was an amazing year beauty-wise. I discovered so many products and brands that I know will remain in my collection for years to come, and some that I don't know how I survived with out them before. I think it is safe to say that Origins was the brand that most stood out to me over the past year and if you haven't already tried their products, go and do so right now - I promise that you will not be disappointed.

Makeup.
This was a year of firsts for me when it came to makeup as I found myself falling for products that I thought I wouldn't even like. The Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation (review) was one of my favourite discoveries. Usually I am a matte girl, but this foundation gives an luminous glow to the skin that I found myself lusting after, the best bit about this product is the amazing coverage it gives but still with a gorgeous natural finish.  To go with my cravings for a glowing complexion, I tried out the Bourjois Java Rice Powder (review), a illuminating translucent powder that not only gives the skin a radiant look but also makes your skin looks almost airbrushed and flawless. Another first for me was cream blushes, something a matte-finish lover doesn't tend to go for, but with my quest for radiance, and the hype that surrounded them, the Chanel Le Blush Creme De Chanel (review) also won my heart. These give a bright pop of colour to any makeup look, while still looking natural and dewy. After months of wanting them, I finally purchased some of the KORRES Lip Butters (review), not usually one for lip balms, these tinted, non-sticky pots of loveliness are amazing that get used on a daily basis.

Skincare.
It's no secret that I love skincare and for me, cleansing is the most important step. The Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm (review) has changed the way I cleanse my skin every night. It removes every last trace of my makeup while still nourishing the skin, it is a little on the pricey side of things but this luxury product is worth every penny. It was unintentional that three of four of my skincare favourites were by Origins, but I really do love that brand. The Out of Trouble Mask (review) is a life saver if you have skin prone to blemishes and breakouts, it not only prevents them with continual use but also helps to get-rid of them when you have a break out. This product is probably the best discovery of 2013 and I will not be with out one in my stash, and one as a back-up. Origins Drink Up-Intensive Overnight (review) is a wonderful product that I would recommend to anyone who wants to put a little dose of hydration into your skin for a plump and glowing complexion. 2013 was the year that I discovered serums and my top pick from the bunch has to be the Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Bright (review). I mentioned before my journey to getting radiant skin and this brightening serum does the job perfectly, I noticed such a difference in the appearance of my skin form the first use and I like to use this whenever my skin is in the need for a little pick me up.

Hair.
I have spent the past two years trying to get my hair in much healthier condition after destroying it with bleach during my 'experimental' phase. My hair care routine is now almost as complex as my skincare one, but I love each and every step! One thing that has definitely helped my hair this year is discovering dry shampoo, in particular the Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo. I used to wash, blow dry and style my hair every single day, but now I can happily go one to two days in between washes which has changed the condition of my hair to no end. Less heat is always better for hair, plus this product gives huge amounts of volume. The L'Oreal Mythic Oil is a step that I never miss out of my hair care routine. I apply this pre-blow dry to smooth over and tame any frizz. I find this really helps in whatever style I decide to have my hair, whether it be curly or straight. The Redken Extreme range are probably my favourite hair products of 2013, especially the Extreme Strength Builder Mask (review). I use this once a week alongside the shampoo to give my hair the most deep conditioning treatment for silky smooth locks, with continuous use I have found this to re-build my hairs strength that has been broken down due to heat and dying.

Other.
One other product that has stood out to me over the past twelve months has to be the infamous Seche Vite top coat. This stuff adds a super shiny gloss effect to your nails and drys in about a minuet, which is fab for those late night nail painting sessions.

This is just a small selection of my favourite products throughout 2013, the products that stood out to me the most, the creme de la creme if you will. Other wise we could have been here for hours. What were your favourite products from the last year?

Weekly Loves #1

Monthly favorites are my favourite posts, both to read to and to write. They are also the main cause of my very extensive wish list. So I thought why not make them a bit more regular - daily would have been too much so I settled with weekly. So welcome to my Weekly Loves! It should also help with one of my new years resolutions which is to start switching up my everyday products.

The Bourjois Healthy Mix Radiance Reveal Foundation was a close companion of mine over the summer months and I now find myself reaching for this most mornings to mix with my beloved Double Wear. Going half and half with these two foundations gives my complexion a lovely healthy glow and despite it being full coverage, it looks perfectly natural.
Also to give my skin a bit of a boost in the glow department I have been loving the Origins Drink Up-Intensive Overnight Mask. A firm favourite in my skincare stash, this has been out shining all of my other products by turning my dull, dry skin into a hydrated and glowing (plus much easier to work with) base.

Besides trying for a more summery base, I am still in love with the plum hues that coincides with the colder weather. Being the only blush that is not pink, peach or a combination of them both in my collection, MAC Azalea Blossom blush has been getting a lot of attention recently. The purple half of this blush accompanies a berry-toned makeup look beautifully... not to mention how pretty it looks in the pan?
To go along side this I have kept things simple - lip-wise, meaning that the KORRES Lip Butter in Jasmine has been my best friend.

Just as it did last year, Christmas 2013 saw Essie Leading Lady adorning my nails right up until the new year. This is a pretty special polish, not just for the festive feeling it brings but the red glitter that runs throughout always has compliments rolling in. Unless something better comes along, I predict this may be my Christmas manicure of 2014 as well.

What have you been loving this week?

Essie Wiked

Essie Wiked
I have declared my love for Essie before... the names, the formula, the bottles - I love it all, so I won't ramble on too much. I am one of those people who like to switch up their chosen polish to suit the season, and this pick from Essie has winter written all over it.

Essie Wiked is the sister to After School Boy Blazer but with a red hue, rather than blue. It has that whole duochrome thing going on where it looks burgundy in some lights and black in others, so if you are looking for something on the vampy side - this one may be for you.

Another winner from Essie. What is your favourite shade?

December 18, 2013

Essie A-List

When it comes to nails, I have two true loves; Essie and reds. The formula and design of Essie is unbeatable and I just love to add new bottles to my collection, so to combined this with my love for red tips it is going to result in a winning duo.

Essie A-List is what I would call a true red. It is not too dark, too bright, too orange toned.. too anything - it is just perfectly red. Red nails are a classic beauty statement, just as a red lip is and although I am an all year-round lover of red tips I think that they are perfect for the festive season - especially if you add a little glitter on there too.

What is your favourite red polish?

Essie After School Boy Blazer

Essie After School Boy Blazer
When it comes to nail polish, Essie have us beauty fanatics go a little crazy - especially since releasing the diffusion line in our favourite drugstores a while back. The 3 for 2 offers are usually used to expand our ever growing stash, but nothing gets us quite as excited as the release of their seasonal collections. There is usually one cutely named polish that sells out immediately and has us searching high and low to find it...

After School Boy Blazer is this years pick of the pack from Essie's autumn collection. A navy so dark it can be passed off as black, this shade has bought our manicures right into the fall season. We all love a vampy nail polish and After School Boy Blazer does it well and is a real contender for my favourite autumn polish. I've got blues and I've got blacks, but this stands out in my stash as being the only polish to balance out the two.

If you're lucky enough to see one of these in your nearest Boots, then be sure to make it yours... you won't be disappointed.

October 2013 Favourites

October 2013 Favourites
October was a good month for me, not only was it my birthday month but I discovered a load of new beauty products that I have fallen in love with. The products featured this month are all new to my stash and are the ones that have stood out to me most throughout the month.

Now I have raved about these before (here) but the L'Oreal EverRiche Shampoo & Conditioner have been giving me silky smooth hair all month. They have that 'unable to stop touching my hair' effect which I love. Another product that I have already reviewed (here) and sang it's praises is the Bourjois Java Rice Powder, a brightening powder that has been giving my skin the perfected look that I have craved for so long. Something that every beauty lover has been instagramming the past few weeks is Essie's After School Boy Blazer and with good reason. A navy so dark it is pretty much black adorns nails perfectly for autumn. The final two products are both from NARS, and both presents from my boyfriend - heavy hints were given . Gaiety blush is one that I have been after for a while, being a pink kinda girl, for both lips and cheeks, this bright pink shade gives a gorgeous glow to my complexion. The Fairy's Kiss Palette is probably the perfect palette to see you through the autumn/winter months as it is filled with plumy shades to create every day and evening looks and I have been using this nearly everyday.

The leaves have started to fall, meaning all of my berry toned products are coming out, and my wishlist of berry toned products is ever growing... you can probably expect a haul sometime soon.

Rimmel Salon Pro

Rimmel Salon Pro
Nail polishes, probably every beauty bloggers very first love affair. Back in the day Barry M had stole your heart but as time grew you opted for more sophisticated options and OPI become your favourite companion, and now that you are all grown up and out to work you are just searching for something to fit the 'one paint job a week' criteria...

Well let me introduce to you Rimmel Salon Pro. A polish that will stick around for five to seven days: no chipping, no fuss. A super thick brush for easy application and a whole range colours to meet your fancy. Want more? The relatively thick formula of this polish means that you can be ready to go in just minutes (because who likes waiting around?), I always like to add that second just to make things really sparkle. Talking of sparkle, this stuff has a gel like finish meaning your nails will be glossy and shiny even once they have dried. Now I have save the best for last, because if all that other stuff doesn't satisfy you then this will... it's only £4.49!

I know you're probably eyeing up those shades in that picture, they are Cocktail Passion and Peppermint, both favourites of mine. Wondering if they are as good as they sound? Check them out for yourself, you won't be disappointed ;).

New Start, New Haul

To coincide with  the launch of my new blog, I thought it would show you some of the products I have been buying recently. You can probably expect quite a few hauls on A Day in Beauty - I like to shop.
Firstly I picked up some new skin care and body bits. I have been looking for a simple balm cleanser for a while now and the REN No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm seemed to fit the bill. The Origins Drink Up-Intensive over night mask has been my wish list for a very long time now, so I bit the bullet and finally purchased this well-loved beauty product. I also picked up the Origins Out of Trouble mask. My skin has been playing up lately so I needed something to help return it back to its normal state. For body products I always head straight to Soap & Glory - great smelling products and cute packaging, what more could you want? I bought the Clean On Me shower gel, I have gone through countless amounts of this stuff and I will always repurchase it. I also picked up the Whipped Clean Shower Butter, I haven't tried this before but the scent reminded me of cookie dough so it must be good. One of my favourite shower products is an exfoliating scrub, having tried the Flake Away scrub from Soap & Glory before so I thought I would give the Sugar Crush Body Scrub a go.
As always, I bought some make up but surprisingly it is all drug store items. One thing I definitely knew I wanted to try was the well raved about Bourjois Cream Blushes and to use with this I picked up the Real Techniques Stippling Brush. I also purchased the new Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation as I was intrigued by the radiance properties. I repurchased the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner as it is a favourite of mine, and the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Liner in Nude. One thing that I have been loving lately is the Sinful Colours nail polishes that have recently hit Boots so I picked up this shade in Sugar rush. Oh, and six others. Finally, a little present from my boyfriend - Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush perfume.
Lastly I picked up some Yankee Candle treats for my bedroom. I have been wanting an tart burner for a while now so I picked up this pastel yellow burner and three tarts to go with it; Sicilian Lemon, Fireside Treats and Vanilla Cupcake. I was immediately drawn to the new 'Cool Pops' range from Yankee Candle, mainly due to the cute pastel shades and the sweet scents so I bought Banana Blueberry and Mango Nectarine to fill my room with these scents over summer.

So that is another months pay spent with in days, now just to wait until the next one...
