Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

For years now, I have been searching for the perfect makeup remover. Something kind to my skin but still powerful enough to remove every little bit of makeup. Something that wouldn't require any scrubbing or multiple applications to work. Something quick, simple and effective...

The Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is everything I have been looking for. More on the wax side of the balm spectrum, this product is quite hard to the touch but once rubbed between your fingers turns into an oil. By simply massaging this product on to your dry, made up face you can literally feel your makeup melting away. With a swipe of a hot flannel, every bit of makeup and remaining product is removed from your skin. No tugging, no pulling and no funny oily film left behind on your face.

This has become a must-have in my skin care collection and I always look forward to using it. Never before has something removed my makeup as well as this does and with such little effort. I haven't had any breakouts from this but at the same I wouldn't say it has made any difference to my skin either. I simply use this to remove my makeup, because that is what it does best.

Scentless and quite minimal on the ingredients list, this cleanser would a good choice for anyone, no matter their skin type. I also think that this would make the perfect product for a cleansing balm-virgin. Oh and compared to other good cleansing balms out there, this one can't be beaten on price!

Have you tried this cleanser?
