The world of beauty blogging is currently dominated by palettes, in particular a blush palette - I'm looking at you NARS One Night Stand . So I thought what better time to share with you another palette that has recently been added into my collection.
After completing my first MAC eye shadow palette (pictures and swatches here), I decided it was time to start up a blush one. Now this wasn't an easy decision, did I want single blushes that I could easily rotate in my Muji drawers or did I want a palette, or two , that was a bit more travel friend? I chose to go for the palette (obviously) as I love the idea of customizing it to my own tastes and choices, plus I think the newer style of palettes from MAC look very sleek and the ability to see the shades through the transparent lid is always an added bonus.
I started off my palette with Frankly Scarlett, an super deep pink it is almost red shade which looks beautiful when used to add a pop of colour to your makeup whether it is a more simple or dramatic look. When it comes to blush I tend to stay with pinks and peaches and currently on my list to get are Well Dressed and Peaches but I would love to know what your favourite MAC blush shades are?
What are thoughts on blush palettes?
I don't own a blush palette, its been something ive been considering doing for a while as blush is by far my favourite make up item!

You've really made me want to start a MAC blush palette, even though I've not quite finished building my eyeshadow one! Oh dear... I've already got about 6 MAC individual blushes, my favourites being Stay By Me and Pink Swoon.

What a gorgeous colour, I really love the new design of the palettes, so much better. I really want to add Gingerly to my collection, I'm really missing a natural colour :-)

Definitely get Well Dressed! It's beautiful :) I also love blushbaby, it's really natural and pretty xx
ReplyDeleteI'd love a Mac palette but as I usually put my make up on on the train to work and like to have my blushes with me I don't think it's the most practical option. I'm also rather envious you have Frankly Scarlett - it's on my wish list.

I agree with the palettes looking super sleek, but I have thought about starting a mac blush palette but I don't think they're travel friendly enough! Xx

I love the new palettes, I need to update mine but they are a bit more pricey than the old palettes. That colour is lovely!

I have three MAC blushes - Well Dressed, Trace Gold and Harmony which I use for contouring. I love them all and would definitely recommend them! xx
